Stanley Edwin Bremer, 83, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, surrounded by his daughters.
He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Walter and Marguerite Bremer on August 17, 1940. He grew up in the Woodburn area.
Stan graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School Class of 1958, and then graduated from GE Apprentice School.
He worked as a tool and die maker for several companies in the Fort Wayne area, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn.
He married Anita Cook on April 22, 1961. She passed away on September 20, 2023. They were married for 62 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Carma Johnson, of Auburn, Julie Bremer, of Auburn and Susanne (Glenn) Wilber, of South Carolina; sister, Lois Cole, of Avon, Ohio; three brothers, William Bremer, of Woodburn, Indiana, John (Pam) Bremer, of North Carolina, and Dave (Terri) Bremer, of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and sisters, Shirley Klenke and Jane Farver.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 4-7 p.m., at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main Street, Auburn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1801 N. Main Street, Auburn.
The Rev. Jonathan Nack will be officiating.
Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
